you lil' rascal

i would suppose, on most occations, that a remake can't stand even just at full posture next to a classic. in this instance, the Little Rascals were both a black and white learning point as well as an embed childhood lullabye. released at the perfect point in the 90's to reignite the interest, reinstall the classic, and reinsite some admiration. maybe the plot was a little much, and it was a little hard to watch alfalfa enter a different era, but it's he doesn't have what it takes. the antics seem to ring familiar, and unless you have some emotional ties to the 90's, there is no other reason to pick it up. this comedy was built on tom-foolery and one-line-child stereo types. could the rugrats have even been born with out these predessors? chances are, and most likely tommy and chucky would have been born, and probably been fine, but they would not have the same moxy, and i know i wouldn't watch.

here's the only clip from the 90's that will be on the test.
